About the workshop

Flowers are such a beautiful subject for watercolor — soft, expressive, and full of little opportunities to play with water, colour and movement.

In this workshop, we’ll practice painting a selection of leaves, petals and simple flowers while exploring techniques such as water control, colour mixing, layering, soft edges and creating natural variations with your brush.

No previous experience is needed. I’ll guide you step by step, with individual help along the way. There’ll also be time for tea, coffee, conversation and simply enjoying painting together.

You’ll leave with your own illustration and a better understanding of how watercolor works.
