The Idea Behind the Art Room

Hi, I’m Lizzy — an artist and expat living in Switzerland.

Lizzy’s Art Room was shaped by two things: my own experience of building a life here, and the creative workshops I’ve loved being part of.

There’s something special about sitting around a table with people you may not know yet, painting, talking, laughing, and slowly getting absorbed in what you’re making. The connection feels natural because there’s already something to share.

That’s the kind of atmosphere I want to create.

Small, thoughtfully taught workshops that feel relaxed and social, but still leave you with real skills, a finished piece, and the feeling that you’ve spent your time well.

I’ll guide you through the process, share techniques from my own art practice, and give you plenty of space to explore your own style.

No experience needed — just a few creative hours, good company, and something beautiful to take home.
